Santa was very, very good to me this year! I now have studio lights, and I am eager to use them!
These were some of my test shots. I am in LOVE with them! I adore natural light/outdoor shoots, but studio will force me to be even more creative!
These two spirited boys are my kids…hence the reason my older son is goofing off. He is a total photographers child, and generally refuses to ‘perform’ for me when I have the camera on him. Every other shot of him is him in mid-jump screaming “mommy, I jump!” The baby allowed me 3 shots before he got bored. I <3 my kids!

You may remember the gorgeous W couple from last year here on the blog. I never pass up an opportunity to see these cool kids since my camera likes them so much! (Okay, I do too but that is besides the point!) We took these before Christmas, but I was waiting to blog them until after the holidays were over, to ensure that everyone received their absolutely hilarious Christmas card.

In a town full of stiff competition in regards to photography, I am honored to be able to call Casey Yu a good friend of mine. She even lets me practice on her daughter and brings me starbucks- so clearly, she is full of awesome! In reality, it is even harder to take pictures for a fellow photographer since it adds WAY more pressure. I always strive to do good work, but a fellow photog ups the ante quite a bit!
Her daughter, L, is quite possibly the cutest little girl in the world. <3

I met up with the D family a few weeks ago to get some shots for their Christmas cards. I absolutely adore their daughter, E, and it is always a pleasure to see her parents as well. E has the most amazing blue eyes! I know that baby D is going to be absolutely beautiful when she is born- with parents like hers, it’s a given!
