…and I begged my kids to sit for me for just a few minutes.

After 10 minutes we (they) were done. My older son refused to sit with the baby, and I got exactly one shot of the baby without his mouth hanging wide open…and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am so thankful for my two little blessings and the general unpredictability that they bring into my world. I also love when my older son gives me ‘squeeze hugs’ and the baby’s gummy smile.

Combine them with my all time love of the holiday season and it’s like my own heaven here on earth. The Christmas music, Baby Jesus’ and nativity scenes, the smell of cinnamon and fir trees, Mariah Carey’s ‘All I want for Christmas’, and crowded malls all make my inner 5 year old squeal with glee. Add in the movie White Christmas (which I like to watch repeatedly, much to my husbands dismay) and you have one happy and content girl. Oh! Who can forget the 24 hour run of A Christmas Story on tv- life does not get much better!

I think Christmas should be every day…but since it’s not, I will make my 2 year old wear his Christmas pajamas year round. :)

I had the pleasure of meeting the ‘R’ ladies last weekend to capture some shots as a surprise for their husband/daddy for Christmas. We walked all over Maclay Gardens, and I even got to try some more jumping shots! I love families that are up for anything! These ladies were so sweet and funny, not to mention beautiful! This straight-haired gal is still envious of all those curls!

R Family, I hope that you have a Merry Christmas!

You may remember this adorable little man from this post here and look at him now! He is so stinkin’ cute! Mommy B brought along the reindeer antler hat, and I love it! Thanks for letting me capture these images, B and J!

Last weekend, I had the joy of capturing the M family. I have known them for almost 6 years now, and it is hard to believe how fast time flies. The daughters have grown into some gorgeous young ladies! I had a blast with them, and even got to try taking jumping shots, cartwheel shots, and some genuine family fun!

M Family, enjoy your sneak peek!
